New hydroponic farming site to open in Worcestershire

Worcestershire's reputation as a leading player in agritech is being strengthened with a new hydroponic farming site in the county.

Edinburgh-based start-up company, Shockingly Fresh, has chosen to invest in the county by developing its developing first such site at Offenham, near Evesham. The project should be upand running this year.

It will see 12,338 m2 of polytunnels built for the vertical hydroponic cultivation of salad leaves and herbs.
